Message from our President
Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Marco Island and to another year of serving the children of the community, within Collier County and the world! I'm very excited to begin the year as your president and I look forward to working with each and every one of you whether you are a board member, committee chair or serving on a particular committee. We have a current roster of 65 members and growing! Our Club plays a big role in developing a future generation of leaders by sponsoring Terrific Kids and Reading is Fundamental Programs at both Tommie Barfield and Manatee Elementary School. We sponsor scholarships for high school seniors, as well as, funds for school atheletic programs, music programs, and scholarships for children in need. We have had great success with our Toys for Kids program and we will be continuing it again this year.
Come join us any Thursday, 7:30am, for breakfast at Porky's Last Stand on 701 Bald Eagle Drive, Marco Island, FL September through June. During the summer time check the calendar for regular events and summer time BBQ meetings.
